BLACHPROFIL 2 at the Steel Arena in Košice
Since January this year, BLACHPROFIL 2® has been advertising at the Steel Aréna in Košice. Our advertisements can be found on the boards of the rink and on the so-called sky box.
Steel Aréna is the most advanced and the only multipurpose arena in Slovakia. The Ladislav Troják Hockey Stadium was opened in 1968 as an uncovered artificial rink. On 29 March 1996, the last league match between HC Košice and Dukla Trencin was played at the arena. After almost 9 years of repair and renovation works, the facility was re-opened on 24 February 2006.
The facility is located in the city centre of Košice. The arena has 8347 seats and well developed facilities, including restaurants, bars, cafés, VIP lounges and VIP areas. The Steel Aréna is dominated by hockey, but there are many other sports events, cultural events and social events, particularly exhibitions, concerts (e.g. Bryan Adams, Sting, Jean-Michel Jarre, Andrea Bocelli), competitions, tournaments, congresses and balls.
After the 2011 Ice Hockey World Championship, Košice will be one of the cities that are going to be hosting the championship again in 2019.
